Die globale Auftaktkonferenz für das UNESCO-Programm "BNE 2030" findet vom 17. bis 19. Mai 2021 in Berlin statt und wird von der UNESCO und dem Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) veranstaltet.

Die UNESCO Weltkonferenz in Berlin bildet den Auftakt für das neue Programm "Education for Sustainable Development: Towards achieving the SDGs" – kurz "ESD 2030". Die BNE 2030-Roadmap der UNESCO fasst die zentralen Inhalte des neuen BNE-Programms zusammen.

Programm

Die Konferenz bietet Gelegenheit, Perspektiven und konkrete Aktionen zur Umsetzung des neuen UNESCO Programms "BNE 2030" zu planen. Hierzu hat die UNESCO ihre Mitgliedstaaten eingeladen, Delegationen zu nominieren. Gemeinsam werden die internationalen Teilnehmenden der Konferenz über die Ausgestaltung von BNE in den kommenden zehn Jahren diskutieren und über den Stand der Entwicklungen in den jeweiligen Nationen berichten. Die UNESCO Weltkonferenz wird somit neue Impulse liefern, um BNE in Bildungspolitik und -praxis weiter zu stärken und die strategische Ausgestaltung des neuen Programms zu begleiten.

Session 12. Concurrent sessions: Putting ESD into action B

This session focusses on concrete ESD actions that can be undertaken by specific stakeholder groups around the five Priority Action Areas of ESD for 2030. In part B, 5 workshops tailored to the needs of the stakeholders of various education levels from early childhood care and education to lifelong learning are organized, with particular focus on the latest key issues in promoting ESD in each level.
