Cooperation between dm-drogerie markt and the German National Commission
Since 2008, retail company dm-drogerie markt and the German Commission for UNESCO have been working together to implement the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development, which the United Nations declared for the period from 2005 to 2014.
Annual themes
The German National Committee for the UN Decade has set annual themes for the upcoming Decade years. The objective of the annual themes is to focus the activities of Decade participants better, to attract new partners and make ESD issues more publicity friendly.
Days of Action
It is crucial for the success of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development that the Decade and activities be visible. The best way to achieve this is to group together the numerous contributions to Education for Sustainable Development and present them as a whole to the general public.
